Butch and Cassidy are two very young little boys that were surrendered because of allergies. They were shy boys when they came in, but have since really come out of their shell and love to come to the front of the cage to see what is going on around them. These boys are active, yet relaxed and want nothing more than to become loving members of your family. These brothers are bonded and must be adopted together. Guinea pigs are a long term commitment of at least 5 to 7 years; so if you can't commit to giving them the long term love and affection they need and deserve, please don't adopt a guinea pig. Guinea pigs are social animals, and should always have a friend of their own kind. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 5 to 7 years, and I've even had them live up till they were 9 and 10 1/2. Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs. They are also vegetarians. Among their favorite veggies are Romaine, Parsley, Green leaf/Red leaf lettuce, Endive, Collard Greens, Kale, Tomatoes, Carrots (in moderation) and Green/Red/Yellow or Orange peppers, just to name a few.
