Meet Chuck! Chuck is a wonderful young boy! He's well mannered, inquisitive, and very sweet. He's been looking for a forever home for a while now, and after the passing of his cage mate, he's been a little lonely. So far he's been living with our volunteers adopted males but he'd like a best friend of his own. If you have a male currently and want a friend for him (highly recommended), we can setup a meet and greet with the two guys. If you don't have a pig, no problem - we can surely pair up within our adoptables. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 5 to 7 years, and I've even had them live up till they were 9 and 10 1/2. Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs. They are also vegetarians. Among their favoriite veggies are Romaine, Parsley, Green leaf/Red leaf lettuce, Endive, Collard Greens, Kale, Tomatoes, Carrots (in moderation) and Green/Red/Yellow or Orange peppers, just to name a few.
